Free and open to the public. Brought to you by Bird Alliance of SW New Mexico.

Did you know that window collisions account for over 1 billion bird deaths annually in the U.S.? And that residential home windows account for nearly half of this total?

Fortunately, you can take steps at home to avoid contributing to those statistics! Birds can't distinguish reflection from open flyways. They need strong clues on or around glass to warn them that it's there. In this workshop, we'll explain ways to prevent bird collisions with your windows. And, we'll provide materials and hands-on practice with some of the most effective ways you can use to protect birds near your windows.
