Second caller advising of a fire behind the SOS/believes it is a grass fire/was just passing by. Third caller advised it is at the sawdust plant/advised about an hour ago he saw two males in.....

Monday, May 25

Silver City Fire Department

Fire
1319 E. Pine Street
House on fire/neighbor's house is on fire and she can see a lot of smoke/neighbor is burning wood in the backyard and it keeps getting away from him. Second caller advised the neighbor is burning a pot. SCFD E21 advised to send LE then advised to take no further action on LE.

Wednesday, May 27

Structure fire
Multi-agency (Silver City Fire Department; Pinos Altos, Whiskey Creek, Tyrone, Fort Bayard volunteer fire departments, and others)
24 Emerald Drive
Caller reported a large billow of smoke. Second caller reported the next door home is on fire then disconnected the line. PAVFD received page. Can see flames coming off roof of house/dark brown smoke/two vehicles outside/two residents are outside as well. GCSO deputy advised have ambulance coming/residents are not homeowners/stage ambulance at end of Emerald. EMS2 advised staging at Cottage San Road. PAVFD advised have engines rolling/asked if additional equipment is needed. Power company advised.

Brush fire
Little Walnut Road
Started as a brush fire working up the hill/is growing/caller states it is after Gomez Peak. Caller did not see how it started/it happened very quickly/smoke is white. USFS stated fire on slope towards the east.
