DEMING - A $900,000 roadway resurfacing project on Business Loop 22 (Pine Street) is scheduled to begin Sunday night, April 26.
Work will take place nightly for approximately 25 days, from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. Residents along Pine Street may experience noise during operations, but the contractor will make efforts to minimize disruptions.
The project extends along Pine Street from milepost 0 to milepost 4.2. During construction, single-lane closures will be in effect in both eastbound and westbound directions during work hours.
Motorists should anticipate delays and are advised to plan travel accordingly. Drivers are reminded to use caution in the work zone, obey all posted signs and detours, reduce speed, and remain alert for construction personnel and equipment.
Intermountain Slurry Seal Inc. has been contracted to complete the work.
