Jamie Sechrist, Executive Director of the Gila Community Foundation (GCF), will share an overview of the different types of charitable funds available through our local community foundation and how they can help individuals, families, and organizations create meaningful, lasting impact in Southwest New Mexico.
During her presentation, Sechrist will explain how community foundations work. Attendees will learn how charitable funds can support both immediate community priorities and long-term legacy giving. The session will also highlight how the Gila Community Foundation strengthens local nonprofits through training and capacity-building programs.
If you are interested in aligning your values with local impact — or simply want to better understand how community philanthropy works — we hope you will join us on March 15.
This Sunday’s offering will be a dedicated offering to the Gila Community Foundation. Any donations that are not specifically marked to a particular fund, such as pledge or border or Social Justice will go to the Foundation.
All ages are welcome to attend the Sunday program.
