Silver City, NM, June 29, 2024--PFLAG Silver City is inviting parents, families, friends and neighbors of LGBTQ+ people to march with PFLAG and LGBTQ Grant County in the July 4th Independence Day parade.
Spokesperson Damie Nelson said, "Marching in the parade to honor our loved ones is a powerful statement. It's a very visible way of supporting our queer and trans family members, friends, neighbors and co-workers. If you can't walk the entire parade route, consider marching with us for a few blocks. Show that Silver City and Grant County are good places to live for everyone. We all belong here!"
