Aidan Conrad Granado, 21, a resident of Silver City, NM entered eternal rest Wednesday, October 14, 2026, in Ft. Stockton, TX. He was born on February 23, 2005, to Frankie and Melissa (Misquez) Granado, in Silver City, NM.
With great sadness and shattered hearts, we share with our community the passing of our beloved son and brother, Aidan Granado.
From the moment he came into this world, Aidan added the spark our family needed, and there was never a dull moment when he was around. His laugh was infectious, and even on the worst days, he always found a way to make you laugh. His smile could light up every room he walked into, and he left his imprint on everyone he met. There was simply no forgetting Aidan.
Aidan's time with us was far too short, but it was so, so full. He accomplished so much in his 21 years, and his family could not have been prouder of the young man he became.
Aidan was the youngest of four boys, and he was loved and spoiled by all of us. In many ways, it was his brothers who helped shape him into the person he became. He was always running around with the older kids, playing baseball, basketball, and football with them. They never treated him like a baby; they were just as rough on him as they were on each other. Growing up that way helped him develop the talent, toughness, and competitive spirit that would follow him throughout his life.
The love Aidan shared with his brothers was special. They were all close in age, and they remained close as they grew older. That is something we will treasure forever.
While he loved all his brothers, he shared a special bond with his oldest brother, Alex. Alex was a strong role model for his brothers, and Aidan looked up to him. He spent his days trying to make him proud and he always had to tell Alex everything first. That bond meant more than words could ever express.
His bond with Anthony grew through football and lifting weights. They were always competing with one another, but they both loved every minute of it. And then there was Aaron, his youngest brother and closest-in-age companion. They made it through high school together, shared the same friend group, and spent many, many nights out enjoying themselves a little too much. No matter how much life changed as they grew older, one thing remained the same: there wasn't a single day those boys didn't text each other.
Those everyday conversations, the competition, the jokes, and the memories they made together will forever hold a special place in our hearts.
In our small community, Aidan was well known for his athletic talent, and many will remember what an amazing football player he was. We spent countless hours following him wherever he played, and there was no place too far for us to go watch him do what he loved. Those memories will always be some of our most treasured. Aidan was confident enough to know he was different from the rest, but humble enough to never think he was better than anyone.
Aidan was also an avid Buffalo Bills fan, a love passed down to him by his dad. Many people were shocked when they found out he was a Bills fan, but he proudly stood by his team. He had a love-hate relationship with Josh Allen, and even during the worst games, he would sit there watching and talk as much crap as he could. When the Bills had a good game, he celebrated like no other. Those football Sundays, his commentary, and his reactions are memories that will bring smiles to our faces even as we miss him.
Aidan's love for hunting began when he was very small, and that passion grew right along with him. After high school, hunting became a huge part of his life. He became well known for his abilities in the hunting world and worked as a hunting guide, experiencing incredible opportunities and pursuing many different hunts. He was fortunate enough to harvest record-setting animals and create memories and accomplishments that made his family incredibly proud.
Along the way, Aidan was blessed with special people who helped him grow and opened doors for him. His brother Iseha played an important role in introducing him to opportunities in the hunting world, and Aidan never forgot that. He would often say, "I wouldn't be where I'm at without Iseha." Those words showed how much he appreciated his brother and the people who believed in him and helped him along the way.
Although so many people had a part in shaping who Aidan was, it was HIS personality that made people want to be around him. There was simply no way to spend a day with Aidan and not come away with a story, a laugh, or a memory. His talent may have opened doors, but his personality was what made people love him.
We always knew, as spoiled as Aidan was, it was going to take someone special to meet his expectations—and his expectations were high! But he found that girl, someone who loved him, cared for him, and gave him the kind of love he deserved. Sequoia cared for Aidan perfectly, just as he needed. He was so proud of his little home, everything he wanted for him to build a life, a place for him and his special girl and he loved how she made it their home!
We are so grateful that Aidan had the chance to experience that kind of love and share a home and a life with Sequoia. He loved her very much, and his ultimate goal was to take care of her. Knowing how happy he was with her and how proud he was of the life they were beginning together will forever mean so much to us.
Aidan leaves behind his loving parents, Frankie and Melissa Granado; his beloved girlfriend, Sequoia Aguirre; his brothers, Alex and girlfriend Dayanara, Anthony and girlfriend Enecia, and Aaron and girlfriend Makennah; his sister, Danni Conklin who was so special to him and such an important part of his life; and his brother, Iseha Conklin. His maternal grandparents, Daniel and Sylvia Misquez, and his paternal grandparents, Frank and Mary Granado.
Aidan's family also includes his aunts and uncles: Naomi and Randy Gomez, Jessica and Dominic Vargas, Shannon Misquez, Leann and Eric Schoenberg, Adrianna Misquez, Bobbie Jo and Lalo Gonzales, and Estrella Granado.
He was a loved uncle to his niece, Xyiana Granado, and his nephews, Kyan and Kanon Conklin. And his niece on the way, Zayari Granado, who we will make sure knows her uncle.
His cousins include Darren and Janee Salazar and their children, Dantae, Averie, and Elijah; Kaley and Aubrey Misquez; Michael, Gabriel and Lyncoln Gomez; Kody Ortiz; Dominique and Bridgette Vargas; Livan, Ivan, and Yovanni Hernandez; Ty, Austin, Kaleb, and Riley Gonzales; Jazmyn and Angel Guerrero and their children, Kaedyn, Kamryn, and Karsyn; Jaclyn Miranda; and Noah Miranda.
He is also survived by his great-grandparents, Mick Guck, Thelma Aguilar, and Domingo Misquez, his Godparents, Jerome and Dana Dominguez, along with many other aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and friends whose love for Aidan cannot be captured in a list of names.
While we will miss Aidan with every part of our souls, we will forever cherish the time we were blessed to have with him. We will cherish the memories, the laughter, the love we gave him, and the love he gave us in return. We will hold his pictures and videos close, sharing his stories and remembering all the little things that made him who he was.
Aidan's life was far too short, but the love he leaves behind is immeasurable. He will live on in the memories of his brothers, the hearts of his family, the stories shared by his friends, the hunting adventures he loved, the football games we watched, and the countless moments when we find ourselves laughing at something that reminds us of him. We will continue forward with our faith, trusting in God and holding on to the promise that we will see our sweet boy again.
