Annie Deloris Cranford Roach; beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother passed away on Wednesday October 14, 2026 in Crowley, TX surrounded by family. She was 87 years old.
Annie Deloris was born on October 6, 1939 to George Thomas Cranford and Annie Mae Marcum Cranford in Granite, Oklahoma. She lived in Oklahoma with her parents, sister Betty and 2 brothers, Larry and Jerry. Her family moved to Deming, New Mexico when she was nine years old. She met the love of her life, Fredrick (Freddy) Roach in home economics class at Deming high school. They married on December 7, 1957 and moved to the Roach Family Farm, where they raised 5 children, Kay, Jackie, Donald (Don), Vaughnda, and Brenda. The farm housed four generations working together to provide food and crops to sell to provide an income. Annie Deloris became the book keeper for the family business. She also drove the school bus once her children became older. She loved to cook for the field workers and regularly made trips to town to help purchase groceries for them. She drove grain trucks, pulled cotton trailers, and helped wherever was needed around the farm. She was greatly involved in the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Deming and was loved by all.
Upon the passing of her husband of 49 years, she moved to Texas to be closer to her daughters. She then became a volunteer at Texas Health Huguley Hospital. She also joined a group of seniors that planned trips and traveled throughout Texas. She enjoyed sewing, playing board games, spending time outdoors, and shopping. But most of all, she loved and adored her children and grandchildren.
Annie Deloris is survived by her children, Kay Johnson and husband, Jim; Jackie Roach; Don Roach and wife, Carol; Vaughnda Gerling and husband, Russ; and Brenda Taylor; her grandchildren, Jimmy Johnson and wife, Gissa; Jon Johnson and wife, Erica; Kayse Johnson; Adrianne Pope and husband, Russ; DeeAnn Roach; Amber Roach; Jeremiah Roach and wife, Lynette; Jamie Roach; Russell Belnades and wife, Mikaila; Victoria Gerling; and Roxy Taylor; her great grandchildren, Valerie Lyon and husband, Terrence; Austin Johnson; Jaxen and Jacob Johnson; Haley and Emily Johnson; Anndrea, Landon, and Heidi Pope; Slayer and Evan Roach, Chyanne Hodges; Seven and Gage Roach; Margaret Roach; and Calista Belnades; her great great grandchildren, Kennedy and Sophia Lyon.
Annie Deloris is pre deceased by her parents, George Thomas and Annie Mae Cranford; husband, Fred Roach; and her brother, Jerry Cranford.
Her ashes will be buried with her husband, Fred C. Roach at Mountain View Cemetery in Deming New Mexico.
