Born in Hillcrest General Hospital on August 28, 1964 to Ronald Huffaker and Marilyn (Anderson) Huffaker, followed two years later by her sister Chris Ann Knight of Tucson, AZ.
Passed away August 14, 2026, just 2 weeks shy of 62.
Graduated from Silver High School as co-valedictorian of her class.
Graduated from Western New Mexico University, earning the top grade in those receiving a BA, with majors in English and Computer science.
She started and operated her own business, Pegasus Software and Computer Shoppe for 17 years, until an illness put her in the hospital for two months, where she lost so much of her strength that she could no longer conduct the business.
While at home she wrote and published several books of poetry and co-authored another.
One of her pleasures was seeing a customer smile when she had led them through a software problem, generally in Accounting. Almost twenty years after closing she would say, "I had a dream last night that I was back in the office helping a customer." She was a people person.
She always said as we topped the hill into Pinos Altos, "I love these mountains, they are beautiful".
May she forever be part of them.
