GranadinoFrankFrancisco Escobar Granadino, devoted father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and uncle.  A skilled mechanic, and a proud Vietnam Veteran, entered eternal rest, Friday, March 20, 2026, in Santa Clara, New Mexico, at the age of 80.

Born on January 21,1946, Frank lived a life rooted in faith, family, and hard work. A longtime resident of Santa Clara, NM, he was known as a ma of quiet strength – someone always willing to lend a hand, fix what was broken, and share his knowledge with patience and humility.  He lived guided by strong values and a deep sense of responsibility to family and community.

As a father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and uncle, Frank found his greatest purpose in caring for those he loved.  He believed in teaching by example and took pride in passing down both skills and values from one generation to the next.  A talented mechanic, he found joy in honest work and especially enjoyed teaching his children and grandchildren who wanted to learn.

Frank honorably served his country during the Vietnam War and was awarded the Purple Heart for wounds received in combat.  He carried his service with dignity and gratitude, always mindful of the sacrifices made. He was blessed to share many meaningful years with his longtime partner, Inez, whose companionship brought him comfort, strength, and love.  Frank embraced Inez's family as his own and cherished the time spent together.

Frank is survived by his children; Francisco Granadino (Mary) of Aurora, Lorenzo Granadino, of Hurley, NM, and Monica Granadino, of Bayard, NM.  He was a proud grandfather to his grandchildren, Nicholaus, Brianna, Klowana, and Zavian, and a beloved great-grandfather to many great-grandsons, whose lives will continue to reflect his love, faith, and example.

He is also survived by Inez's children and their spouses; Deb Paulk (Gene), Tony Evans (Jeanie), Kevin Evans (April), and Cameron Evans (Chelsea); and by Inez's granddaughter Amber Vancil (Andrew), all of whom held a special place in Frank's heart.

He is also survived by his sisters Magdalena Nunez, Ofelia Valtierra, Vacillia Granadino, Cecilia Parra, and his brother Gabriel Granadino, along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends, including his longtime friend Fred Barrera.

He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Cecilia Escobar Granadino and Francisco Padilla Granadino, and by his sisters Mary-Lou Sainz, Hortencia Lucero, and Marian Aguilera,

Frank was the father of three children with Amelia Granadino, the mother of his children.

Frank will be fondly remembered for his generous heart, his faith, his strong work ethic, his love of family, and the comfort he found in the companionship of his beloved dog, Kloe.  Though he will be deeply missed, his life remains a blessing to all who knew him.  May he rest in peace.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 31st from 9-10am at Terrazas Funeral Chapels with the holy rosary being recited by Deacon Art Gutierrez.  The funeral mass will be celebrated at 12noon at St. Anthony's Mission in Fierro, NM.  Concluding the service the interment will take place at 2pm at Fort Bayard National Cemetery with full military honors.  Pallbearers serving in his honor were his grandsons, Nicholaus, Angel, Francisco, Nathan, Lorenzo, Ayden, and Zavian.
