In Loving Memory of Gloria Najera
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved grandmother, mother, sister, and friend, Gloria Najera
She was born to Guadalupe Flores and Guadalupe Tello on April 18, 1950 in Mexico City. In 1989, she came to the United States from Mexico City in search of a better future for her family. In 2005, she made Deming, New Mexico, her home, where she continued to build a life filled with love, faith, and family.
She was a loving sister to Luisa, Consuelo, Rosa, Lucha, Antonia, Jose, Jorge, Jesus, Juan, and Francisco. She was a devoted mother to Jesus, Jose Luis, Sergio, Salvador, Alejandro, and Maria, who were the center of her world.
She was also a proud and loving grandmother to Francisco, Edgar, Alma, Griselda, Gustavo, Ruby, Angel, Kimberly, Elizabeth, Edward, and Stephanie. She cherished every moment she spent with her grandchildren and created countless memories that they will treasure forever.
She worked in factories for many years, but her favorite job was working in food preparation, where she enjoyed cooking and serving others. Outside of work, she loved cooking for her family, sewing clothes, caring for her beautiful flowers, and spending time with the people she loved most.
She will always be remembered for her kind heart and forgiving spirit. She never held anger toward others and believed in offering forgiveness, compassion, and understanding. Her gentle nature and unconditional love touched everyone who knew her.
Although our hearts are broken, we find comfort knowing that her love, strength, and kindness will continue to live on through her children, grandchildren, family, and everyone whose life she touched. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
Visitation will begin on Friday, July 17, 2026 from 9 o'clock in the morning till 10 at The New Life Apostolic Church. A funeral service will commence at 10 followed by the final interment at Mountain View Cemetery. Pastor Jose Ramirez will be officiating.
Receiving the honor to serve as Gloria's pallbearers will be Edward Flores-Najera, Angel Najera, Marko Crossland, Luis Alvarez, Nicolas Quintana, and Edgar Gutierrez.
