TorresLucyLucy Saiz Torres, 76, entered eternal rest on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at her residence in Las Cruces, New Mexico.  She was born on March 15, 1950, to Albert Saiz and Guadalupe Galindo.

Lucy Saiz Torres, the strongest and most beautiful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, friend, and devoted believer in Christ, leaves behind a legacy of love and faith that will never fade. Lucy truly embodied kindness, unconditional love, unwavering support, trustworthiness, and deep faith.

She shared a beautiful marriage with her beloved husband, Felix, for 55 years—a love story that many looked up to and admired. Together, they built a life filled with laughter, joy, and deep connection. They loved to laugh, play pranks on each other and their children, and spend warm summer nights on the porch enjoying cold watermelon—simple moments that became cherished memories.

Lucy had a remarkable way of lighting up every room she entered, bringing warmth and comfort even in the darkest moments. For so many, she was a safe source of peace, wisdom, and reassurance. She shared meaningful life lessons that her family will carry with them for generations to come.

Anyone who had the privilege of knowing Lucy walked away feeling lighter, loved, and uplifted. She held her family close, nurturing strong bonds and emphasizing the importance of connection, unity, and community.

Lucy also had a vibrant and witty spirit. Quick with her words and full of humor, she brought joy and laughter to those around her. Her sense of humor was unforgettable, and her presence was a gift to all who knew her.

She will be missed every single day. May she rest in paradise with her beloved husband, Felix.
