San Juan County, NM- On Wednesday, March 11, 2026, the New Mexico State Police Uniform Bureau partnered with the New Mexico Corrections Department's Probation and Parole Division's Security Threat Intelligence Unit (STIU) to conduct a coordinated crime reduction operation in San Juan County focused on locating and apprehending individuals who had absconded from probation and had active arrest warrants.

During the targeted enforcement effort, officers and agents worked together to locate individuals who had failed to comply with the terms of their probation and were actively avoiding supervision. The operation resulted in the arrest of seven individuals. Of those taken into custody, five were identified as probation absconders who were wanted on felony charges.

These types of coordinated operations are aimed at holding offenders accountable, reducing repeat criminal activity, and enhancing the safety of the communities. Individuals who abscond from probation often continue engaging in criminal behavior while evading supervision, making their apprehension a priority for law enforcement.

The following individuals arrested during the operation were booked into the San Juan County Detention Center and will face the appropriate charges related to their warrants and probation violations:

Quentine Beyale: Possession of a controlled substance

Dervin Chackee: Possession of a controlled substance, resisting, evading, obstructing

Jason Wallace: Possession of a controlled substance

Michelle Hardy: Possession of a controlled substance

Dylan Hall: Possession of a controlled substance, shoplifting
