PTF Applauds Mountain Valley Pipeline Ruling: A Good Day For Anyone Who Values American Energy Security

Washington, D.C. - Power The Future Founder and Executive Director Daniel Turner released the following statement after the United States Supreme Court overturned a Fourth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruling that had prevented the Mountain Valley Pipeline to move forward:

"I am pleased the highest Court in the land saw through the constant stall and delay tactics from the extreme eco left and allowed this commonsense project to move forward. The green movement has long relied on our judicial branch as a weapon against our nation's energy producers, and America has paid a steep price. While today's news is a welcome one for everyone who values our energy security and freedom, we must not rest on our laurels. No sacrifice is too small for the extreme eco left at the altar of their climate change cult, including infrastructure projects like the Mountain Valley Pipeline."

PTF Responds to Hillary Clinton: July is hot

Washington, D.C. - Power The Future Founder and Executive Director Daniel Turner released the following statement in response to today's claim from former Presidential nominee Hillary Clinton:

"While facts may not matter in the private jet world occupied by Hillary Clinton, Americans know that it gets hot in July. This is nothing more than a washed-up politician trying to remain relevant while Joe Biden, her choice for President, erodes our energy foundation on a daily basis. Americans rejected Hillary, the Green New Deal, and Joe Biden's radical agenda and those are facts she can't scrub from a email server."

Renewables Fail New Mexico as Temperatures Rise

Albuquerque – As temperatures in the Albuquerque area reach over 100 degrees, traditional energy sources, not renewables, are delivering nearly all the power for many New Mexicans. At 4:34pm local time on Wednesday, the official temperature in Albuquerque was 101 degrees, yet the amount of energy being generated by renewable sources was a mere 7 percent. Without energy sources such as coal and natural gas, New Mexico’s families would be forced to endure the heat without electricity.

Kerry Praises China for Doing "incredible job" Embracing Green Agenda

Washington, D.C. - During his three-day trip to China, Climate Czar John Kerry praised communist leaders for their “incredible job” embracing the green agenda. Kerry failed to mention the human rights abuses China employs in their solar manufacturing industry, including the use of slaves. Kerry’s visit to China is less than two weeks after Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen’s awkward visit to communist leaders.

"The Biden Administration will parade leaders through Communist China on a regular basis, but not one of them will reach out to support the American energy industry here at home that powers our country without using slave labor,” said Larry Behrens, Communications Director for Power The Future. “The Chinese Communist Party has made it their mission to supplant America as the world’s economic superpower, and sadly our politicians are assisting their effort by kneecapping our domestic energy producers. John Kerry jetting around the world to praise our adversaries is the latest data point on the green agenda ignoring reality at every level.”

In Light Of Shocking Public Records Request, PTF Calls on Lujan Grisham Administration to Abandon EV Hypocrisy

Albuquerque – Power The Future is calling on the Lujan Grisham Administration to abandon their electric vehicle hypocrisy. Last week, Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham announced she would mandate new rules requiring electric vehicles make up 43 percent of cars for sale in New Mexico within four years. However, requested public records uncovered that EVs make up only 0.8% of cars in the state. Additionally, in fiscal year 2021, state employees in the Lujan Grisham administration drove over 12.2 million miles with only 10,849 of those driven in EVs, less than 1 percent. In 2019, the Lujan Grisham administration announced the intention to spend $3.5 million of taxpayer dollars to buy EVs for state employees.

“It’s past time for Governor Lujan Grisham to ‘charge up or shut up’ over her forced EV mandates,” said Larry Behrens, Communications Director for Power The Future. “The people of New Mexico have spoken, and less than 1 percent have opted for an EV, yet the Governor wants to artificially drive that number closer to 50. The Governor loves her EV photo-ops but she’s just another green hypocrite refusing to play by her own rules.”

PTF On President Biden/King Charles Meeting: Ban Fossil Fools

Washington, D.C. - Power The Future Founder and Executive Director Daniel Turner issued the following statement in response to today's meeting between President Biden and King Charles III:

"From bans on gas stoves to mandated transitions to electric cars, President Biden has been acting like a monarch in pursuit of his environmental fantasy, so today's meeting with King Charles makes perfect sense. Never one to miss a foreign photo-op, it's fitting John Kerry will also be tagging along, while he ignores requests to appear before Congress at home. Aging wealthy figureheads plotting to condemn their counties to perpetual poverty from one of their many staffed estates is the perfect encapsulation of Biden's presidency and priorities. Our country would be better off with bans on fossil fools like Joe Biden."

PTF Launches Presidential Candidate Energy Survey

Washington, D.C. - In order to better understand their respective visions for our energy future, Power The Future is providing each Republican candidate an opportunity to share their plans. Each campaign will receive a detailed questionnaire with comprehensive questions surrounding national energy policy.

"Over the past two plus years, American families have become painfully aware about the critical role energy plays in our lives,” said Daniel Turner, Founder and Executive Director for Power The Future. “A series of misguided policy decisions by the Biden Administration surrendered American energy independence, contributed to 40-year high inflation and drove a gallon of gasoline past five dollars, the highest in history. Perhaps never before has the United States needed sound energy policy so urgently. Our goal with this questionnaire is simply creating a platform for a broader and productive discussion on an important topic. We’re hopeful each campaign responds with their plan to bring back American energy independence because working families deserve a President who will put them ahead of the failed green agenda.”

Power The Future’s presidential survey was previewed by Fox News yesterday.

PTF Marks Five-Year Anniversary Of Greta Thunberg Apocalypse Prediction

Washington, D.C. - Today is the five-year anniversary of a climate prediction amplified by activist Greta Thunberg in a now-deleted tweet. Thunberg supported the position that “climate change will wipe out all of humanity unless we stop using fossil fuels over the next five years.” Earlier this year, media outlets noted that Thunberg deleted the tweet as today’s anniversary drew closer.

“Families are facing serious consequences driven by the extreme green agenda supported by unserious people like Greta Thunberg,” said Daniel Turner, Founder and Executive Director for Power The Future. “Greta, John Kerry, Al Gore and countless others have delivered hyperbolic prophecies for decades and are never held to account for their wildly inaccurate predictions. Today’s anniversary is an excellent reminder that those who believe in common sense must demand answers and stand up for the truth because facts still matter.”
