Putin Endorses Biden As His Climate Czar's Family Profits From 'America Last' Energy Policies

Washington, D.C. - Despite President Joe Biden’s constant blaming of Vladimir Putin for high energy prices in the United States, the Russian leader says Biden is his preference to win re-election. Putin praised Biden as “more predictable” and “a politician of the old formation.”   The endorsement arrives less than a month after President Biden put a halt to approvals for liquified natural gas (LNG) exports. As reported today, Biden’s move was pushed by new Climate Czar John Podesta while a member of his family works as lobbyist for foreign LNG producers, including one founded by a Russian energy oligarch that stands to personally profit from Biden’s policy.

PTF Sues Biden Administration Over Kerry's Secret Climate Office

Washington, D.C. - Power The Future is taking legal action against the Biden Administration over their continued refusal to disclose public information surrounding the office of former Climate Czar John Kerry. The Freedom of Information lawsuit, filed in the Washington, D.C. U.S. District Court, outlines the Biden Administration's failures to disclose the names of those who work in the office and their titles.  Since he was appointed to the position three years ago and up until he stepped down last month, John Kerry continually withheld this information from the public and Congress, claiming that he only reports to President Biden.

BREAKING: Documents Reveal United Nations Group Funding Staff, Policy in Blue States

Washington, D.C. - In a new bombshell report today, Fox News is exposing the flow of money from the United Nations Foundation to American state governments in an effort to sway climate policy. According to tax filings, the foundation sent $5.4 million to 12 state governments to pay for staff within governor’s offices and state agencies. These staff members then are able to influence climate policy at the state level in an arrangement they labeled as “UN strengthening.”

“It’s sickening to see governors taking in millions through a cozy climate scheme while working Americans are paying more for energy,” said Daniel Turner, Founder and Executive Director for Power The Future. “We see these governors smile along while Joe Biden forces his climate mandates and now we know the reason why is because they’re influenced by staff on the United Nations payroll. These backdoor funding schemes should be illegal, but for the eco-left it’s just business as usual.”

PTF Slams Appointment of John Podesta as Climate Envoy

Washington, D.C. - Today, the White House announced that political operative John Podesta would be appointed as Climate Czar to replace the departing John Kerry. In response, Daniel Turner, Founder and Executive Director for Power The Future issued the following statement:

“As if we needed more proof that the green agenda is only about political power, appointing Hillary Clinton’s campaign chairman sealed the deal. Appointing John Podesta is another nail in the coffin of Joe Biden’s credibility. He is a political operative who has made a living working inside the climate industrial complex, and his appointment is a sure sign that the green agenda is about to be weaponized for political gain. It doesn’t matter if it’s Kamala Harris in charge of the border, or John Podesta in charge of the climate; when Joe Biden hires someone failure isn’t far behind.”

PTF Slams Biden For Selling Out Ukraine To Appease Environmental Extremists

Washington, D.C. - Nearly three years to the day after canceling the Keystone XL pipeline, President Joe Biden halted permits on liquified natural gas export projects, which have sharply increased following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in February. Daniel Turner, Founder and Executive Director for Power The Future responded with the following statement:

“This type of appeasement by the Biden Administration would make Neville Chamberlain proud. Handing a major win to the extreme environmental left and Vladimir Putin is bad enough. Doing it in the shameless pursuit of his re-election chances is even worse. Every Democrat in Congress who purports to support Ukraine must stand up and call on Biden to reverse this reckless decision. Destroying Americans jobs while weakening support for our allies is disgraceful behavior and beneath the office Biden wants to hold for another four years."

PTF Statement on Governor's "Clean" Car Tax Credit

Albuquerque – Today, New Mexico Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham celebrated committee passage of a new tax credit for the purchase of electric vehicles. The Governor’s efforts to force electric vehicles on New Mexicans continues to be a failure with less than 1 percent of state vehicles being EVs despite massive federal subsidies and rebates.

“New Mexicans don’t support Governor Lujan Grisham’s forced EV mandate no matter how many tax dollars she throws at it,” said Larry Behrens. “It’s mind-boggling that during the same legislative session where she is trying to raise costs on oil and gas workers, she wants to make sure EV owners in Santa Fe don’t pay their fair share. In a poll we conducted just this month, we found 59 percent of New Mexicans don’t support the Governor’s EV mandate.”

PTF Praises Governors For Standing Up To Biden’s EV Madness

Washington, D.C. - Today, 16 governors are sounding the alarm over President Biden’s electric vehicle (EV) mandates. In a letter to the White House, the governors urge Biden to repeal his EV mandate that 2 out of every 3 vehicles be battery-powered by 2032.  The governors raise concerns over lack of choice, high costs, and heavy reliance on China among other concerns.

“These governors are telling the truth Joe Biden doesn’t want to hear, EVs are expensive, unwanted, and shouldn’t be forced upon unwilling consumers,” said Daniel Turner, Founder and Executive Director for Power The Future. “Joe Biden’s own Energy Secretary couldn’t complete an EV road trip without a colossal humiliation, and yet he’s mandating families spend more to go down the same road. I applaud these Governors for standing up for working families and urge more leaders to join them.”

PTF Calls on Congress to Defund John Kerry's Office As Stonewalling Continues

Washington, D.C. - In the wake of bombshell reporting from the Boston Herald showing that presidential Climate Czar John Kerry is still refusing to disclose public information about his secret taxpayer-funded office, Daniel Turner, Founder and Executive Director of Power The Future, called on Congress to defund the unaccountable slush fund:

“So much for democracy dying in darkness. Whether it’s a Secretary of Defense mysteriously hospitalized, the budget for his Climate Corps, or jet-setting John Kerry’s office, the Biden Administration sure loves keeping secrets,” said Daniel Turner, Founder and Executive Director for Power The Future. “The bureaucrats in Kerry’s office are receiving six figure salaries while Joe Biden is spending massive amounts of unaccountable money on the green agenda. While Joe Biden drones on about supporting democracy, he allows secret offices with anonymous staff to spend untold amounts of money without any oversight. If Joe Biden and John Kerry won’t come clean about what they’re doing, Congress should defund their efforts immediately."
