Water Security - ensuring water quality and quantity is secured. Working with the Regional Project promoting water availability in both quantity and quality of water for municipalities, unincorporated areas, farms, and ranches.
Healthcare - advocate for the hospital to return to Acute Care status so that it is not limited to limiting patient census to 25 per night, at length of stay not to exceed 4 days. Not being able to provide adequate acute and trauma care, resulting in a constant flow of patients being flown out to regional hospitals at a cost of tens of thousands per flight.
Economic Growth - collaboration with the county, local municipalities, businesses, and mines to WNMU and other secondary and post-secondary education providers to engage in developing a Strategic Plan for developing new business and industries in Grant County.
Mental Health - develop a coordinated mental health system of care serving people and families in need. Establishing respite care facilities, collaborative services with school districts.
Homeless - Expanding homeless services to all municipalities in Grant County. Integrating education and healthcare to those who seek such services. Work with CYFD to provide service and support to its clients.
Addiction - Providing safe harbor and treatment for addicts. Developing a discharge plan that provides resources necessary for continuing sobriety, including housing, clothing, meals, job training, economic support, and many other resources. Ensuring care for dependents.
