Free Workshop Teaches Entrepreneurs How to Reclaim 10 Hours a Week Using AI
Silver City, NM — Local business owners, shop managers, and nonprofit leaders buried in daily administrative tasks can learn how to leverage artificial intelligence—without the technical jargon—at a free upcoming workshop. The event, titled "AI for Silver City Businesses," will take place on Thursday, July 30, at 6:00 PM at The Seedboat Collective, located at 214 W. Yankie St.
Unlike typical AI events designed for software developers, this 90-minute session focuses entirely on practical, real-world applications for everyday business operations. Attendees will learn how to treat AI like a capable assistant to automate email triage, draft replies, surface missed follow-ups, and generate a Friday "owner brief" to ensure Mondays start with clarity instead of chaos.
The workshop features a live demonstration of Claude Cowork, a powerful AI collaboration tool, showing exactly how small businesses can implement it immediately. No coding experience or technical background is required.
The session will be led by John Vishnesky, founder of the AI marketing and automation agency Nimble Fox Marketing.
"Most AI events are built for developers," said Vishnesky. "This one is built for the Silver City business owner who knows AI matters but doesn't have time for hype or a coding bootcamp. We are going to focus on practical stuff you can use the next morning so you can get roughly 10 hours a week back."
