o 'Louise Mirlande' reflects an ongoing relationship which was formed from dance, to photography, painting and mixed media. It is the result of a 30+ year dialogue combining our ideas into a collection of art which is expressed in the persona of Louise Mirlande.
o The artwork and photography is a record of these interactions, years apart. The artists are led by the assertion of Nahui Olin, who saw herself as an artist and not an artist's model. Further influence includes a wide breadth of artists from the photography of Julia Margaret Cameron to the performance work of FLUXES and Joseph Beuys.
o A wide range of work to depict this ongoing process is installed specifically within the MERGE space.
o Natasha Weston is a self-trained artist and model whose ongoing use of the camera records her inner worlds and outer persona.
o Linda Chappel works in a wide variety of media and as a collaborator in this work brings her studies of art history to the table.
