También le sobreviven 6 hermanos: Alfredo, Rubén (Licha), Rigoberto (Norma), Ramón, Efraín y Antonio (Olivia) Enríquez; y una hermana: Bertha Enríquez.

It is with profound sadness and deep love that we announce the passing of Honorable Retired Judge Ygnacio Barreras "YB" Morales, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather and pillar of the community, who peacefully passed away surrounded by family and loved ones on March 28, 2026 in El Paso, Texas.
Judge YB Morales, was a proud man of Indigenous roots, carried his heritage with dignity and pride. He lived a life defined by strength, integrity, and unwavering dedication to his family and community. His resilience, courage, and unwavering beliefs shaped not only his life, but the lives of all who loved him. Born in 1928 in Chamberino, New Mexico to his parents Clementa Barreras and Juan P. Morales. His family moved to Santa Rita, NM in November 1928 to 1930 and returned to Chamberino during the depression to work in the cotton fields.
Josephine Prislan, 83, a resident of Deming, NM went into the arms of the Lord on Sunday, March 29, 2026 at Mountain View Hospital in Las Cruces, NM surrounded by the love of her family.
Josephine was born on March 19, 1943 in Bayard, NM to Manuel and Veneranda Dean.
After graduating from Cobre High School she left home and joined the military to seek adventure and opportunities away from a small town. Eventually she returned back home to Grant County and worked at the Court House before becoming a homemaker where she raised her children. She loved to bake, can fruits and vegetables from her trees and gardens.
Ruben S. Chavez, 76, a resident of Safford, AZ entered eternal rest Friday, March 27, 2026 at St. Mary's Hospital in Tucson, AZ. He was born July 29, 1949 in Lordsburg, NM to Benjamin Chavez and Maria Sepulveda.
He was married for 53 years to his wife Christina "Yolie" Chavez. Ruben enjoyed watching sports in his man cave, especially the Las Vegas Raiders, the LA Lakers, Arizona Wildcat basketball, and boxing matches. He cherished quiet moments on his porch, where he spent time watching and feeding birds while tending to his plants and trees; known for his gift of storytelling and his playful sense of humor, Ruben brought laughter and warmth to those around him. He was especially proud of his children and grandchildren and treasured every opportunity to spend time with them.
Jennifer White, 72, a resident of Silver City, NM entered eternal rest on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at Gila Regional Medical Center. She was born in Victorville, California to her parents Dan and Lillian White on December 4, 1953. Jennifer grew up in Hurley, New Mexico, until her parents' bought property in Pinos Altos, New Mexico, her senior year.
She had memories of playing near the mine tailing ponds with her brothers and another story where the family adopted a dog that turned out to be a coyote.
Jennifer's senior year the family moved north of Pinos Altos. They bought a "fixer upper" and spent family time expanding the house. For many years they enjoyed telling stories around the fire pit, horseback riding, and large family get togethers.
Dora R. Martinez, 78, lifelong resident of Lordsburg passed away Wednesday March 25, 2026. Arrangements are pending.

Joseph Howard Bagg (Joe), of Silver City, New Mexico, peacefully passed away at 81, surrounded by family and loved ones, on March 27, 2026, after his battle with Alzheimer’s.Joe was born September 11, 1944, in Sacramento, California.
He moved throughout the West with his parents, eventually settling in Alameda, California as a teenager, and then remained there until he was drafted into the Army during the Vietnam War.
After his short stint in the Army, serving in Germany, he returned to California working for Pacific Bell in Oakland for over 20 years.
Francisco Escobar Granadino, devoted father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and uncle. A skilled mechanic, and a proud Vietnam Veteran, entered eternal rest, Friday, March 20, 2026, in Santa Clara, New Mexico, at the age of 80.
Born on January 21,1946, Frank lived a life rooted in faith, family, and hard work. A longtime resident of Santa Clara, NM, he was known as a ma of quiet strength – someone always willing to lend a hand, fix what was broken, and share his knowledge with patience and humility. He lived guided by strong values and a deep sense of responsibility to family and community.
As a father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and uncle, Frank found his greatest purpose in caring for those he loved. He believed in teaching by example and took pride in passing down both skills and values from one generation to the next. A talented mechanic, he found joy in honest work and especially enjoyed teaching his children and grandchildren who wanted to learn.
