All concerts are on Sundays at 3 pm at the Good Shepherd Church downtown Silver City at the corner of Texas and 7th streets.  The concerts are free as an outreach to the community to showcase the talent of local musicians. The reception afterwards is a light fare of coffee & cookies & lemonade.

Heavy Metal Mariachi - Not your mothers Mariachi Band!

Metalachi! is a genre-bending band that blends traditional mariachi music with heavy metal. They combine the instruments and arrangements of mariachi with the riffs, vocals, and overall sound of heavy metal, often performing covers of iconic metal songs.

Lotus Center, a Silver City-based nonprofit yoga and meditation center, will be holding a dedication of a prayer wheel. A prayer wheel is a cylindrical wheel—commonly made of metal, wood, or stone—that is installed on a spindle. It's filled, literally, with millions of prayers of compassion and kindness. In addition to prayers of compassion, the inside of the wheel will be filled with other sacred offerings. The offerings have been donated by members of the southwest New Mexico community.

Workshop/ Silver City Clay Festival w/Scott Sutton. The Art of Pigment Hunting will provide two days of exploring the geological landscape for various minerals and clays that can be used for pigments, paints, plasters, clay bodies, slips, and glazes.
