Mark Thomas Eisenhauer born June 6, 1957 in Quincy, Massachusetts to Elizabeth (nee Harding) & Milton J. Eisenhauer Sr. Died suddenly March 11, 2026 in Deming New Mexico. Mark and his family traveled throughout the U.S. in his early years. Spending 4th grade in Kialua, Oahu, Hawaii. Then Merritt Island Florida, to Key West Florida. In 1974 Mark and his family landed in Deming New Mexico. There he stayed until he graduated with the class of 1976 from Deming High School. While at DHS he played JV football under coach Rex Smith. And 3 years on the varsity wrestling team. In 1976 he made it to the New Mexico High School State wrestling finals. Finishing fourth place in the New Mexico State finals for his weight class. After graduation from DHS, Mark moved to Quincy Massachusetts for two years. Feeling the itch to travel he then moved to Venice, California. While in California Mark became an apprentice carpenter, where he honed his craft and excelled as a finish and framing carpenter. Moving back to Deming in 1993. While back in Deming Mark opened Kicking Horse Construction Company doing jobs all around Southern New Mexico. And when things got slow he worked for Clint Simmons and Clint's father Tom on the Simmons Farm south of Deming.

It is with deep sadness that the family of Alfredo (Fred) Vega, announce his passing on March 15, 2026, at the age of 80.  He was surrounded by loving family and the caring nurses, doctors and staff at Gila Regional Medical Center.

Fred was born to Valentin and Eugenia Vega on October 18, 1945, in Deming, New Mexico. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle.  He grew up in Deming, New Mexico, where he was a proud Deming Wildcat. He was active in both band and basketball, beginning a lifelong connection to school and community. He went on to attend New Mexico State University and later earned his Master of Arts from Western New Mexico University.  Fred was a respected educator and community leader who dedicated his life to education and believed deeply that every child has potential. He began his career as a teacher at Las Cruces High School in 1968, before becoming a principal at Silver High School in 1974, and retired as Associate Superintendent of Learning Services for Silver Consolidated Schools.   Throughout his career, he was known for the care he showed his students and their families. He was a steadfast advocate for children and youth facing adversity, always putting their well-being first, even when it meant standing firm in the face of challenge. Many of the students he guided came to see him as a mentor and role model.

Kenneth Langdon Hutchins, 90, a resident of Silver City, NM entered eternal rest Thursday, March 5, 2026 at Fort Bayard Medical Center.  He was born June 1, 1935 in San Francisco, CA to Ruben and Eunice (Armstrong) Hutchins.

Mr. Hutchins proudly served his country with the U.S. Navy. 

He is survived by his son, Kenneth Hutchins Jr. and wife Stephanie of Santa Rosa, CA; two daughters, Anastasia Mack and husband Ryan and Melissa Goldsmith; four grandchildren, Kenneth Hutchins III, Taylor and Sara Mack, and James Hutchins; one great grandson, Matthew Hutchins.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

Cecilia Hagen, 82, of Las Cruces, NM, went to be with her Savior on March 11, 2026. Cecilia was born on February 4, 1944, in Hot Springs, NM, to Luis Terrazas and Virginia Gurule. She was the oldest of eight children and learned at an early age to help care for her siblings and make tortillas for the family. She married Russell Hagen on November 23, 1963, and they went on to have three children together. They were married for 50 years before his passing on March 23, 2014.

Cecilia became a Christian and dedicated her life to the godly education of her children, not just in word, but through her actions. She was a quiet, humble, and steady person of deep faith who put the needs of others before her own. Her Sunday lunch table was open to anyone in need of a meal or fellowship, and she spent many hours on her knees praying for others.

Her defining traits are seen in many scriptures: "Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth. Blessed are the merciful, for they will receive mercy. Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God" (Matthew 5). These blessings spoken by Jesus were not just for Cecilia—but through her—to her family and friends. She had a sincere faith even through difficult times (2 Timothy 1:5), which is her legacy to her children and grandchildren.
