HolguinGregGreg Holguin, a devoted family man, outdoorsman, and faithful Christian, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 22nd, 2025 at Del Sol Medical Center in El Paso, Texas. Born in Silver City, New Mexico, Greg was raised in nearby Santa Clara, where he developed the deep roots and strong values that would guide him throughout his life.

Greg's intelligence and work ethic led him to a successful career as an accountant and administrator with the New Mexico Department of Health. His dedication to public service was commendable.

It was Greg's love for the outdoors that truly defined him. A true rancher at heart, Greg was an avid horseman and hunter. He took countless long rides through the rugged New Mexico terrain—rain or shine.   He cherished his time living near Elephant Butte Lake, often taking his family on memorable boat rides and enjoying the serenity of the water.

Family meant everything to Greg. He was immensely proud of his niece and nephews, enjoyed family gatherings and playing poker with his family.

Greg's life was also deeply rooted in faith. A devout Christian, and member of the Knights of Columbus, he lived each day guided by his strong belief in God, exemplifying kindness and humility.

Greg's presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His memory will live on in the stories shared, the trails he rode, and the hearts he touched.
