White House Policy Insults New Mexicans

Albuquerque – In a memo uncovered today, the White House is prohibiting senior Biden officials from traveling to energy conferences that focus on oil and natural gas. The policy, in place since late 2021, would prohibit Biden administration officials from traveling to New Mexico to discuss an industry that provides billions of dollars to the state. New Mexico is the second largest producer of oil in the country and hosts a number of critical discussions about the industry, all of which the Biden administration would be prohibited from attending.

BREAKING: PTF Slams Hypocrisy as White House Prohibits Official Travel to Fossil Fuel Conferences

Washington, D.C. - In an internal memo obtained by Fox News, the White House National Security Council is prohibiting senior members of the Biden Administration from traveling to energy conferences that promote coal, oil or natural gas. According to reports, the White House demands were in place since November 2021 with updates to the policy provided as recently as last month. During this time, senior administration officials have utilized traditional fuels to travel on hundreds of trips.

Daniel Turner, Founder and Executive Director for Power The Future released the following statement in response to the White House demands:

“We need no further evidence that the Biden Administration has declared war on American Energy then this egregious memo which treats the fossil fuel industry like an enemy.  While this administration pursues accords with Iran and begs Venezuela for oil, the industry which powers our entire economy is treated like a pariah.”

Biden's Interior Department Favors Shutdown…in the Gulf

Washington, D.C. - As a possible government shutdown looms, the Interior Department took the opportunity today to announce their plans to “phase down” oil and gas leasing in the Gulf of Mexico. President Biden’s administration proudly declared the new 5-year plan is the “fewest oil and gas lease sales in history” that would allow them to expand controversial offshore wind developments.

“Joe Biden can continue to blame foreign powers for the price of gas all he wants, but he hasn’t appointed Putin or the Saudi Prince to a cabinet position…yet,” said Daniel Turner, Founder and Executive Director for Power The Future. “Our families are suffering under terrible prices brought on by Biden’s energy policies and all his administration can do is brag about how much they’re hurting American energy production.”

PTF Praises House Oversight Investigation into Granholm's Failed EV Trip

Washington, D.C. - House Oversight Leaders sent a letter to Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm today demanding answers into her failed electric vehicle showcase. In June, Granholm embarked on a four-day EV journey to showcase the Biden Administration's green policies. The result was a failed trip that required fossil fuels as a bail out when a government-funded staffer used a gasoline-powered vehicle to block a family from charging their own EV.

PTF On New Mexico Gun Ban: First Step In Their Perpetual Power Grab, Climate On Deck

Washington, D.C. - As New Mexico Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham (D-NM) faces widespread backlash over her controversial public health order banning guns, there is concern that politicians will use climate as the next excuse for the next emergency declaration. Other leaders in the state are already calling for the declaration of a climate emergency, something the Biden Administration was caught discussing well over a year ago. Just last month, President Biden faced calls to declare a climate emergency and responded that he had already “practically” done so.

PTF Poll: EV Mandates Receive Bipartisan Opposition

Washington, D.C. - A new poll from Power The Future shows widespread opposition to electric vehicle mandates even in deep blue New Jersey. The poll found 58 percent of Garden State voters oppose EV mandates handed down by Governor Phil Murphy. The proposal, which requires all new car, SUV and light trucks sales in the state to be zero emission by 2035, fails to win majority support even among Democrats (46%), young voters (46%) and Murphy’s own approvers (48%). While reasons for the opposition vary, nearly 7 out of 10 residents feel the mandates will cost them more money.

BREAKING: Biden to Cancel Critical Alaska Leases

Washington, D.C. - News broke on Wednesday that President Biden’s administration plans to cancel critical oil and natural gas leases in Alaska. The lease was twice approved by Congress and two different Presidents and would have provided essential jobs and revenue to the state. In response, Power The Future Founder and Executive Director Daniel Turner issued the following statement:

“This is another nail in the coffin of the White House lie that Joe Biden isn’t standing in the way of American energy production. As families are dealing with rising gas prices, President Biden is working to ensure his radical green agenda comes first. During his short time in office, Joe Biden has delivered massive inflation and the highest gas prices ever: that will be the legacy of Bidenomics.”

PTF Statement on Dr. Anthony Fauci Climate Diagnosis

Washington, D.C. - Although he is not a high-level climate scientist, Dr. Anthony Fauci recently stated, “I mean if you look at it, everything from the fire, the tragic fire, in Hawaii to Texas which has something like 75 days in a row over 95. I mean it’s completely, really amazing what’s happened with climate change.

Power The Future Founder and Executive Director Daniel Turner issued this statement in response:

“Dr. Anthony Fauci was immeasurably wrong on lockdowns, masks, and social distancing during the last government emergency and now he’s trying to put his fingerprints all over a fake climate emergency. This is the same failed bureaucrat who condescendingly declared that if you attack him, you’re attacking science. Now that he’s latched on the climate grift, Americans should be extremely worried anytime they hear talk of a climate emergency.”
