PTF Marks Five-Year Anniversary Of Greta Thunberg Apocalypse Prediction

Washington, D.C. - Today is the five-year anniversary of a climate prediction amplified by activist Greta Thunberg in a now-deleted tweet. Thunberg supported the position that “climate change will wipe out all of humanity unless we stop using fossil fuels over the next five years.” Earlier this year, media outlets noted that Thunberg deleted the tweet as today’s anniversary drew closer.

“Families are facing serious consequences driven by the extreme green agenda supported by unserious people like Greta Thunberg,” said Daniel Turner, Founder and Executive Director for Power The Future. “Greta, John Kerry, Al Gore and countless others have delivered hyperbolic prophecies for decades and are never held to account for their wildly inaccurate predictions. Today’s anniversary is an excellent reminder that those who believe in common sense must demand answers and stand up for the truth because facts still matter.”

Green Pro Quo: Biden Receives Reelection Endorsements of Extreme Eco-left

Washington, D.C. - Four of the nation’s largest environmental activist groups endorsed Joe Biden’s re-election on Wednesday. With over 500 days until election day, the early endorsements were offered less than a year after Biden signed off on a $370 billion package to fund projects supported by the groups. In 2020, environmental groups and their billionaires spent at least $45 million supporting Joe Biden’s campaign. Wednesday’s endorsement signals they are ready to do the same in 2024.

Entire NM Delegation Supports Biden Administration Attack on Gas Stoves

Albuquerque – Today, every member of the New Mexico House Congressional delegation voted to let the Biden Administration continue to push onerous rules against gas stoves. Despite their opposition, the “Save Our Gas Stoves Act” received bipartisan support from 29 Democrats in the House. The measure easily passed the chamber with 249 votes.

“The Biden Administration is coming after so many aspects in the lives of New Mexicans, you would think our representatives would stand up for our families. Sadly, the best they can do is tweet middle-school jokes while Joe Biden forces his green agenda through executive rules,” said Larry Behrens, Communications Director for Power The Future. “The natural gas industry provides jobs and critical revenue for our state and when it’s under attack New Mexico needs leaders. Sadly, all we have are petty politicians.”

Navajo Landowners Shut Down Deb Haaland's Anti-Oil Celebration

Washington, D.C. - Joe Biden’s Interior Secretary had to move her anti-oil celebration over the weekend due to Navajo landowners protest. Deb Haaland was in New Mexico to commemorate her recent, unilateral decision to shut off hundreds of square miles of land from oil and natural gas development. On Sunday, Navajo landowners who benefit from oil development confronted those who supported Haaland’s decision.  In response, Daniel Turner, Founder and Executive Director Daniel Turner issued the following statement:

“These Navajo landowners served up a much-needed dose of reality to Deb Haaland and Joe Biden. The decision to cut off their land from oil and gas development was opposed by the landowners and the leadership of the Navajo Nation, yet the green agenda always comes first for Biden and Haaland. We are grateful to these landowners for popping the distorted DC bubble where Joe Biden and Deb Haaland think they can ignore the voice of the people.”

BREAKING: Interior Secretary Deb Haaland Subject of Congressional Investigation

Washington, D.C. - After the House Natural Resources Committee launched an ethics investigation into Interior Secretary Deb Haaland, Daniel Turner, Founder and Executive Director for Power The Future, issued the following statement:

“For more than two years, the Biden Administration has acted without any serious congressional oversight and we have all suffered the disastrous consequences. Secretary Haaland’s relentless crusade against American energy producers knows no limits, and the public deserves to know about any financial connections she stood to gain from her family employment. Chairman Westerman deserves great credit for this fact-finding mission into potential influence peddling driving the anti-energy agenda. We are hopeful other congressional committees will follow suit and shed more light on those pulling the strings behind the scenes of the Biden Administration.”

OPEC Cuts Oil Supply Again, Biden Looks The Other Way

Washington, D.C. - During OPEC meetings over the weekend, Saudi Arabia agreed to cut oil production by 1 million barrels a day in an effort to drive up energy prices. The latest cuts arrive less than a year since Saudi Arabia and other nations decided to cut production by 2 million barrels, defying President Biden traveling to the Middle East to ask for increased oil output. Since President Biden took office, American oil production has fallen below pre-pandemic levels.

“Joe Biden’s war on American energy has put OPEC squarely in the driver’s seat and thrown working families under the bus,” said Daniel Turner, Founder and Executive Director for Power The Future. “Within the last twelve months, President Biden has drained our strategic reserve, begged Saudi Arabia for more oil and continued to treat American energy producers worse than our adversaries. Instead of turning toward American industry leaders and might, President Biden’s reckless green religion is making OPEC great again.”

Haaland Order The Latest Hit in Biden War on Energy

Albuquerque – Power The Future Communications Director Larry Behrens issued the following statement in response to the Biden Administration shutting off land in New Mexico for energy development:

“This latest slap in the face from Deb Haaland is no surprise because she’s never met an oil and gas moratorium she doesn’t love. Given the common-sense precautions already in place, this decision has nothing to do with protecting the land and everything to do with protecting Joe Biden’s green campaign donors. Make no mistake, if someone wanted to take over New Mexico’s lands with Chinese-made solar panels, Deb Haaland would be the first to cut the ribbon.”

PTF Calls on Congress to Investigate Kerry and Biden's Secret Climate Office

Washington, D.C. - A bombshell report from Real Clear Investigations and Judicial Watch is cracking open the door hiding President Biden’s secret climate office. Since the beginning of the Biden Administration, John Kerry has served as “Climate Envoy” at the State Department and repeatedly refused to answer questions about his job and the role. According to the report, Kerry’s secret agency involves up to 45 people and spent $16.5 million in taxpayer dollars in 2022.

“When Joe Biden forces executive orders and weaponizes his administration for the green agenda, it’s only fair to ask if John Kerry’s secret office is really pulling the strings,” said Daniel Turner, Founder and Executive Director for Power The Future. “In light of this troubling report, Congress must subpoena Kerry and investigate his secret office because the public deserves to know who is wielding power behind the scenes. Given his proclivity to fly around the world negotiating foreign policy without any congressional oversight, the beneficiary of these deals is not the American people but the Chinese Communist Party. The Biden Administration has declared war on American energy, now let’s find out who is really calling the shots. ”
