PTF Poll: EV Mandates Receive Bipartisan Opposition

Washington, D.C. - A new poll from Power The Future shows widespread opposition to electric vehicle mandates even in deep blue New Jersey. The poll found 58 percent of Garden State voters oppose EV mandates handed down by Governor Phil Murphy. The proposal, which requires all new car, SUV and light trucks sales in the state to be zero emission by 2035, fails to win majority support even among Democrats (46%), young voters (46%) and Murphy’s own approvers (48%). While reasons for the opposition vary, nearly 7 out of 10 residents feel the mandates will cost them more money.
BREAKING: Biden to Cancel Critical Alaska Leases

Washington, D.C. - News broke on Wednesday that President Biden’s administration plans to cancel critical oil and natural gas leases in Alaska. The lease was twice approved by Congress and two different Presidents and would have provided essential jobs and revenue to the state. In response, Power The Future Founder and Executive Director Daniel Turner issued the following statement:
“This is another nail in the coffin of the White House lie that Joe Biden isn’t standing in the way of American energy production. As families are dealing with rising gas prices, President Biden is working to ensure his radical green agenda comes first. PTF Statement on Dr. Anthony Fauci Climate Diagnosis

Washington, D.C. - Although he is not a high-level climate scientist, Dr. Anthony Fauci recently stated, “I mean if you look at it, everything from the fire, the tragic fire, in Hawaii to Texas which has something like 75 days in a row over 95. I mean it’s completely, really amazing what’s happened with climate change.”
Power The Future Founder and Executive Director Daniel Turner issued this statement in response:
“Dr. Anthony Fauci was immeasurably wrong on lockdowns, masks, and social distancing during the last government emergency and now he’s trying to put his fingerprints all over a fake climate emergency. This is the same failed bureaucrat who condescendingly declared that if you attack him, you’re attacking science. Now that he’s latched on the climate grift, Americans should be extremely worried anytime they hear talk of a climate emergency.”

Visit Not An Excuse To Declare So-Called “Climate Emergency”
Washington, D.C. - As President Joe Biden leaves vacation and travels to Maui today, Power The Future is urging him to ignore pleas from activists about leveraging the crisis and declaring a so-called “climate emergency.” These demands from the left have intensified after Biden’s bizarre statement to the Weather Channel that he had “practically” already done so.
“For Joe Biden to look upon the suffering of the people of Hawaii as an opportunity to push his failed climate agenda is abhorrent,” said Daniel Turner, Founder and Executive Director for Power The Future. “Biden may vacation in the home of a billionaire climate donor, but he works for the American people and we’re tired of a President who puts his agenda before facts. No President, not even Joe Biden, should use a real disaster that has claimed the lives of more than 100 people to declare a political emergency.”

Washington, D.C. - At the one-year anniversary of the Inflation Reduction Act, Power The Future is releasing new research highlighting the links between President Biden’s green push and its enrichment of China. The report offers solutions to reverse Biden’s China dependence that has been supercharged by the $369 billion worth of green giveaways contained within the IRA.

“No doubt President Biden will be guided from one carefully-scripted event to another, but if he really wanted to see what powers New Mexico’s economy, he would meet the workers in our energy industry that make everything possible. While President Biden’s fossil fuel-powered motorcade speeds by the homes of working families, his policies are forcing them to buy an EV and get rid of their gas stove. Instead of insulating himself in a bubble of donors and sympathetic politicians, President Biden should learn about reality from the families paying more because of his failed energy policies.”
