Kick off the morning with cowboy coffee and a biscuit. 10 am: Site tours; 11 am: “The Brannins- Early Homesteaders on the Sapillo.” Noon: “Apaches in the Mimbres and Black Range.” 1 pm, Gooch murder re-enactment; 2 pm: “Mimbres Peoples and their Pottery.” Children’s activities include corn grinding, yucca processing, bullroarers, old fashioned games and pottery making. There will be a raffle for a load of firewood, and a drawing.
