Fort Bayard History Tour

Download as iCal file

Saturday, August 14, 2021, 10:00am - 02:00pm

Tours are led by Society members knowledgeable not only in the history of the fort and hospital, but in the broader history of the Southwest.

Society guides will be available between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Guests are requested to meet in front of the Commanding Doctor’s Home and Museum, along the west side of the Parade Ground. Masks are required for visitors, and Covid distancing and health protocols will be followed. Tours will include a walk around the Parade Ground and adjoining areas. Due to ongoing repairs, access to the Museum building is uncertain, but if feasible, guests will be allowed inside the structure within Covid occupancy limits.

For further information, or to book a large group tour, interested parties may contact Doug Dinwiddie at 575-388-4862, Cecilia Bell at 575-388-4477, or Becky Dinwiddie at 970-222-5084.
