November 23-29, 2025

11/23/25- Deputies responded to a missing persons complaint.  The missing persons report was filed via NCIC for Lisa Jane Smith.  

11/23/25- Deputies responded to a vehicle crash on Hwy 90 and C bar Rd.  All occupants reported no injuries.   

11/25/25- Deputies served a warrant at the Grant County Detention Center to Brandon Dominguez for aggravated battery.  The warrant was issued through Magistrate Division I with a no bond set. 

11/25/25- Deputies responded to a vehicle crash with injuries on Hwy 152-mile post 4. 

11/25/25- Deputies responded to an unattended death at an address off of Brook Hollow Dr.  Deputies found the deceased male in his bedroom.  Detectives and the Office of Medical Investigators were called to the scene. No foul play was suspected. 

11/25/25- Deputies responded to a vehicle crash on Hwy 180 and Mangus Creek Rd.  No injuries were reported at the time of the crash. 

11/25/25- Deputies responded to a vehicle crash on Rosedale Rd and the Volunteer Fire station.  No injuries were reported. 

11/26/25- Deputies responded to a battery complaint located at the Gateway Hotel in Hurley NM.  After investigation Dylan Porterfield and a juvenile female were taken into custody. Mr. Poterfield was booked into the Grant County Detention Center on charges of contributing to the delinquency of a minor and harboring a fugitive.  The juvenile female was booked into the Dona Ana Detention Center on a probation violation warrant.   

11/26/25- Deputies responded to a vehicle crash on Hwy 152-mile post 7.  No injuries were reported.

11/27/25- Deputies responded to a criminal damage complaint located off an address on Chalcocite Rd, Tyron NM.  Reported was a sliding glass door was shattered.  This case in ongoing and under investigation. 

11/2925- Deputies responded to a wild dog attack that occurred on Little Walnut Rd in Silver City, NM.  Reported a coyote attacked a hiking biting her in both her legs.  The victim reported physical defending off the coyote until she was able to return to a safe area.  The victim was treated at Gila Region Medical Center.   

11/29/25- Deputies responded to a vehicle crash on Hwy 61 and San Lorenzo.  No injuries were reported. 

11/29/25- Deputies responded a physical domestic disturbance call on Jaguar Dr. Santa Clara, NM.  After investigation Jose Reyes Garcia was taken into custody for battery against a household member.  Later he was transported booked and taken to the Grant County Detention Center.
