Robert “Bobby” O. Carrasco, 84, a resident of Silver City, NM entered eternal rest Friday, October 9, 2020 at his residence surrounded by his family.  Arrangements are pending with Terrazas Funeral Chapels ~ 575-537-0777.

anne horse raquelwelshrAnne Leslie Sexton, wife of husband Kenneth G. Sexton, passed on October 1, 2020 as the result of injuries sustained in a horse-riding accident. She is survived by her husband, brother Jeff Menoff, and sister Jill Menoff. Anne was a MD licensed physician and had a MS degree in cell biology. She had 24 years of pharmaceutical industry/CRO experience in Pharmacovigilance, Medical Monitoring, and regulatory writing/editing/submissions. Her therapeutic areas of expertise included oncology, general internal medicine, neurology, pain control, hemostasis, and immunology /infectious disease.

havens picKenneth H. Havens Sr. entered eternal rest on Wednesday, October 7, 2020. A Graveside Service will be held at the Masonic Cemetery on Saturday, October 17, 2020 at 10:00am.  He was born October 1930 in Squankum, NJ to Byron and Minnie Havens. After high school Ken joined the Air Force and was stationed in Japan. While in the Air Force Ken met his first wife Shirley Gurba at a USO dance in Seneca Falls, NY and they were married in 1952. Ken was discharged in Phoenix, AZ and became a carpenter and worked his way up to supervisor.  While in Phoenix Ken and Shirley had their three children.

Gilbert J Torres “Junio”, 56, a devoted husband, father, and grandfather passed away peacefully and lovingly surrounded by his wife, children, and grandchildren on October 4, 2020 in Phoenix, AZ. Gilbert was a life-long resident of Arenas Valley, NM. He was born on November 26, 1963 in Stanton California to Gilbert and Frances Torres.

Gilbert is survived by his wife Karen of 37 years; three sons, Gilbert Torres Jr (Amber) of Arenas Valley, NM, Albert Torres (Alexandrea) of Silver City NM, and Sonny Torres of Arenas Valley, NM; two daughters Tanya Maldonado (Byron) of Arenas Valley, NM, and Krystal Torres of Silver City, NM; and nineteen grandchildren who he loved dearly. His mother Frances Torres of Deming, NM, and one sister and one brother also survived him. Adrian Melon Jr., a dear family friend was someone Gilbert thought of as a son. Last but not least, Gilbert left behind an overabundance of old, rusty, classic cars and trucks that, unfortunately for you, ladies and gentlemen, will still not be for sale.
