Bayard to hold remote public hearing

The City of Bayard, New Mexico is considering Wastewater System Improvements for the construction of a replacement plant influent sewer line and manholes totaling approximately 760 feet, nine new manholes and improvements to an existing manhole; connection of the existing Hurley sewer force main to new sewer manhole; construction of a new plant entrance works with a new bar screen, screenings conveyor and manual bar screen, and Parshall flume with an entry chamber, two channels and an exit chamber.
Due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Emergency declared by Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham and the limits on the number of persons gathering, except for essential functions, the meeting will be a virtual public meeting open to the public. Those individuals that wish to participate must register by January 28, 2021 by 11 am at the following website:
