Rotary meeting featuring topic: "Rotary projects in Guatemala"

On March 9, Deborah Simon, Rotary’s Guatemala Project Coordinator, will talk about some of the many projects the Silver City Rotary Club has undertaken in Guatemala, including a current water project.

The public is always invited to attend Rotary meetings, which are held on Tuesdays at noon. The Zoom link for watching and/or participating in any Rotary meeting can be obtained by emailing a request to: info@silvercityrotary.org 

Rotary, the world’s oldest and largest service club organization, is comprised of business and professional leaders who encourage high ethical standards in all vocations and work to build goodwill and peace in the world. It has more than 1.2 million members in 167 countries. Since the founding of the Silver City Club in 1923, the local club and its members have provided monetary support and volunteer workers for dozens of Silver City and Grant County projects as well as supporting and participating in the many humanitarian projects sponsored by Rotary International.
