Silver City Community Theatre Annual Meeting

Download as iCal file

Tuesday, March 16, 2021, 05:00pm

Silver City Community Theatre Annual Meeting -- this time on Zoom! -- will be March 16, at 5 pm. This meeting is a great opportunity to catch up with what SCCT's been doing and to help plan for the future. Also, we'll be voting for our new board so let us know if you'd be interested in joining the board. We could really use your input.

We've set up the Zoom link so you can easily renew your membership/pay your dues as you register for the meeting.. To register for the meeting go to Put this in the address bar of your search engine at top of screen NOT in the search bar in middle of screen.

When you register you will be asked to pay $20. This fee is your annual membership fee. If you want to join as a couple, please submit the $20 and let us know (the Partnership Membership offers double the privileges) - we'll figure out a way to collect the other $15 or visit, scroll down and pay your membership fee through the "Donate Now!" button. If you are uncomfortable with using PayPal, please send a check to SCCT, PO Box 430, Silver City, NM 88062. Silver City Community Theater is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Donations made are tax-deductible and welcome. If you already have paid dues for 2021 let us know and we'll send you an alternative link.

In normal times your membership includes:
1) A free ticket to a production (or 2 for family membership)
2) A free theatre themed workshop
3) Invitation to parties
4) Voting rights
5) Newsletters
6) The knowledge your membership contributes to making community theatre a vital part of Silver City life.

If you have trouble logging into the annual meeting on March 16,  please contact MaryAnn Marlar at 575-313-5891.

You may not use any information found within the articles without asking permission AND giving attribution to the source. Photos can be requested and may incur a nominal fee for use personally or commercially.

Disclaimer: If you find errors in articles not written by the Beat team but sent to us from other content providers, please contact the writer, not the Beat. For example, obituaries are always provided by the funeral home or a family member. We can fix errors, but please give details on where the error is so we can find it. News releases from government and non-profit entities are posted generally without change, except for legal notices, which incur a small charge.

NOTE: If an article does not have a byline, it was written by someone not affiliated with the Beat and then sent to the Beat for posting.

Images: We have received complaints about large images blocking parts of other articles. If you encounter this problem, click on the title of the article you want to read and it will take you to that article's page, which shows only that article without any intruders.

New Columnists: The Beat continues to bring you new columnists. And check out the old faithfuls who continue to provide content.

Newsletter: If you opt in to the Join GCB Three Times Weekly Updates option above this to the right, you will be subscribed to email notifications with links to recently posted articles.

Submitting to the Beat

Those new to providing news releases to the Beat are asked to please check out submission guidelines at They are for your information to make life easier on the readers, as well as for the editor.

Advertising: Don't forget to tell advertisers that you saw their ads on the Beat.

Classifieds: We have changed Classifieds to a cheaper and shorter option. Check periodically to see if any new ones have popped up.
