Download as iCal file

Sunday, September 12, 2021, 10:00am

The 20th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks is an appropriate time to reflect on the aftermath of the US response. The program will feature a thoughtful TED Talk by Benedetta Berti, conflict and security researcher with a PhD. in International Relations from the Fletcher School at Tufts University, and a Senior Fellow in the Foreign Policy Research Institute’s Program on the Middle East and Senior Advisor and Acting Head of the Policy Planning Division of the Office of Secretary General of NATO. After the talk, Nancy Cliff will lead a discussion exploring our reactions and taking time to consider alternative possibilities that might result in a better and safer future for the world and ourselves.

Masks are to be worn in the building, and there is seating outside on the patio. If you are unvaccinated, for the protection of others please practice social distancing and wear a mask except when eating or drinking.

There will be coffee and conversation after the service, and visitors are always welcome.
