Sunday, November 14, 2021, 10:00am |
Barbara Gabioud, a member of the Fellowship since 1994, will recount the story of the Unitarian Universalist Border Justice project, which began in May 2019 with the need to provide relief for asylum seekers and their families being dumped onto the streets of Deming with no resources and no way to reach their sponsors. Out of this desperate beginning, the UU Border Project was born.
