Rotary Meeting featuring Mondello Family of Morning Star Sports
Tuesday, March 01, 2022, 12:00pm - 01:00pm |
On March 1, 2022, members of the Rocky Mondello family will speak at the Rotary Club. Mondello and his wife Lynn, have owned and operated Morning Star Sports in Silver City for three decades, celebrating that event on February 26, 2022. Three of the four Mondello sons will be continuing with the family business.
The Rotary Club meets every Tuesday at 12 noon until 1 p.m. in the Sunset Room of the WNMU Student Cafeteria, second floor of the Student Union Building. There is a brief “meet and greet”, then a short business meeting and then the speaker has the floor. The club welcomes members of the public to the meetings. Guests are asked to contribute $10.00 if they want a hot lunch with salad, dessert and coffee.
With the recent easing of mask and vaccination mandates from NM State and WNMU, this meeting and future meetings will be hybrid. Email info@silvercityrotary.org to obtain the Zoom link. This protocol follows the NM State Covid mandate and the WNMU Covid mandate. WNMU has also placed a hand sanitizer inside the Sunset Room at the doorway.
