Mayor Ken Ladner and Allyson Siwik to speak at Rotary

The Rotary Club of Silver City has announced Silver City Mayor Ken Ladner and Allyson Siwik will speak to the Rotary Club on Tuesday, April 12, 2022, at 12 noon-1 p m. The topic will be an update on Silver City and the Anti-Litter Campaign, “Pick it up and Toss no Mas.”
Rotary is having this meeting, and future meetings, in a hybrid format. Guests can join the meeting in person in the Sunset Room at WNMU, or via Zoom. Send an email to info@silvercityrotary.org for the zoom link, or call 575-388-2004.
Rotary is an organization of business and professional persons united worldwide to provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and help build goodwill and peace in the world. Rotary is the world’s oldest and largest service organization, with more than 1.2 million members in more than 168 countries. Since its founding in 1923, the Silver City Rotary Club has provided support and service to numerous non-profit organizations and civic causes in Silver City and Grant County as well as supporting and participating in humanitarian projects sponsored by Rotary International.
Normally, the Rotary Club meets every Tuesday at noon in the Sunset Room in the WNMU Student Memorial Building. A donation of $10.00 is suggested if lunch is desired.
