Hummingbird Festival

The public is invited to come out to the Hummingbird Festival this weekend and enjoy all the activities. In addition to vendors, good food by the Duck Stop, watching hummingbirds, there will be music, speakers, ice cream, a raffle, kid's activities and even a play on Sunday.
Sponsored by the Imogen F Wilson Education Foundation, we are located at the Mimbres Culture Heritage Site, 12 Sage Drive, just off highway 35 between mile marker 3 and 4.
We ask that you leave your pets at home for health and safety reasons.

8 AM Capture, Study and Release Hummingbirds – with presentation in lecture room afterwords with Blair Wolf
8:30 Walking tour Mattocks Site – Marilyn Markel , archaeologist, author and historian
9:30 AM– Music by Chill Monroe
11 AM Saturday– Marilyn Markel “Mimbres Birds”
1 pm Gila Native Plant Society Don Graves “Pollinators and Host Plants” lecture room
2-3 Saturday- Music by Chill Monroe
Sunday
