“The Welcoming Congregation,” at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Silver City
Sunday, January 15, 2023, 10:00am |
The Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Silver City’s own Welcoming Congregation Team will talk about the planning they are doing toward applying for recognition as a Unitarian Universalist Welcoming Congregation. Welcoming Congregations demonstrate a commitment to support, affirm, and celebrate lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer people, and their history. They affirm marriage equality and advocate for the rights of LGBTQ people.
The team that is facilitating this process will discuss these steps during the program and will present information on the history of the Unitarian Universalist Association’s Welcoming Congregation Program, the application process, and will be available for questions and suggestions.
There are speakers on the patio if you wish to enjoy the service outside.
UUFSC Safety Protocol as pursuant to our most recent UUA Guidelines:
We will not be serving food or drinks in the building until further notice. Masks will still need to be worn at all times indoors and out, except when eating or drinking. We will continue to serve refreshments on the patio, weather permitting. Visitors are always welcome.
