The Grant County Community Concert Association presents GQ (Gentlemen's Quartet) on Thursday, September 11th in the WNMU Fine Arts Theater at 7 PM. Described as a modern, elegant take on some of the most famous music written, they have developed unique arrangements of music blending the past and present into hauntingly familiar and beautiful melodies.
GQ features Peter Sachon on cello & mandocello, Matt Scharfglass on guitars & bass, Ben Saporito on drums & percussion and David Shenton on piano & violin. With over 10,000 performances from Broadway to major symphony orchestras they demonstrate to their audiences the versatility and unlimited possibilities of the musical language.
Individual tickets are $20 and can be purchased in advance at the Pink Store on Bullard, on-line at gcconcerts.org or at the door the night of the concert. Children up to age 17 are admitted free of charge.
