Bayard, NM — Bayard Public Library has launched a Strategic Planning Community Survey to gather public input that will help guide the library's direction for the next several years.

The survey is part of the library's strategic planning process and is designed to ensure future services, programs, and priorities reflect the needs and aspirations of the community it serves.

"Bayard Public Library plays a critical role as a community hub and access point for information, technology, and connection," said Head Librarian, Cindy "Renee" Provencio. "This survey gives community members the opportunity to share their ideas, concerns, and hopes for the library's future."

Feedback collected through the survey will help inform the Strategic Planning Committee in drafting the Strategic Plan that will influence long-term decisions related to library programs, hours, spaces, technology access, partnerships, and community services. Input from residents across the Mining District and Grant County is encouraged.

The survey is open to all community members and takes approximately 5-10 minutes to complete. All responses are confidential and will be reported in aggregate. Responses will be compiled and reviewed by the Strategic Planning Committee and library leadership as part of the development of a multi-year strategic plan.

Community participation is essential to ensuring Bayard Public Library continues to serve as an inclusive, responsive, and accessible resource for people of all ages and abilities.
