DylanThe times they are indeed a-changin’.

Come celebrate the music of Bob Dylan, a true American original - singer-songwriter, poet, visual artist, Nobel Prize laureate, Grammy winner, Academy Awards winner, and countless other accolades - a major figure in our popular culture for over the past 60 years.

Never has Dylan’s music been more important or more meaningful than today, a time in American history that will truly define our “experiment in democracy” and determine whether or not it will survive.

Local musician and Dylan-ophile, Joe Neri, has been producing an annual Bob Dylan tribute concert in northern Arizona since 2006. In 2019, he produced such a concert here in Silver City to an overflowing and enthusiastic audience. You might have been there!

“Well”, Neri said, “It’s time to do it again.”

The concert will be held at The Hearth (1915 N. Swan Street) on Saturday, May 31 at 7 pm.  It will be a fundraising benefit for the Social Justice programs of the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Silver City. A cash donation at the door of $10 is suggested. Doors open at 6:30 pm.

Music performances by the Mittlestadts (Susan and Burt), Steven Baird, JonRo Crow (Carlton Oakes), Wally Lawder, and Joe Neri & Blues Dawg (Dave Zaborac, Rick Spiegel, and Ted Whittemore).

So, mark the date and don’t be late. It’s going to be a great show for a good cause!
