Silver City, NM, August 25, 2025—Jamie Sechrist, Executive Director of the Gila Community Foundation, will be the guest speaker at the PFLAG Silver City monthly meeting September 2nd, 6:00 PM, at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, 3845 N. Swan. Light refreshments will be served, and the public is invited.
Ms. Sechrist will speak about the mission and vision of the Gila Community Foundation (GCF), including its association with Give Grandly. She has been involved with a number of non-profit organizations throughout her career. Prior to her work in the non-profit sector, she worked in accounting and public relations for several large corporations and holds a Bachelor's degree in Marketing. She has served as Executive Director of the GCF for approximately two years. The GCF, formerly known as the Grant County Community Foundation, has been instrumental in enhancing the quality of life in Southwest New Mexico since its founding in 2013.
