"We hope Chocolate Fantasia and Territorial Charter Day will be hugely successful, with many people participating," said Jamie Newton, Chair of GMCR's Board of Directors. "We'll welcome visitors to enjoy light refreshments while they meet our Board members and people whose voices they hear on the air. GMCR/KURU is a nonprofit, sustained by donations from the community. This is a great time to support the station – and we're still offering a T-shirt with the GMCR/KURU logo to anyone who donates $25 or more."
