Hurley Volunteer Fire Department

Thursday, Aug. 7

Car fire
Highway 180
2010 Honda CRV/did see flames under the hood/occupants were advised to exit the vehicle. GCSO deputy advised vehicle is fully engulfed. Whiskey Creek VFD advised to page out Hurley and Santa Clara. Deputy – small grass fire not traveling very fast/sounds like rounds are going off in the vehicle/possibly the airbags/send next wrecker on rotation.

Pinos Altos Volunteer Fire Department

Thursday, Aug. 7

Fire other
318 Ridge Road
Two miles due east of Tyrone. Second caller can also see the flames. Third caller advised it is in the middle of the dump. Tyrone VFD Mini51and Command1 en route.

Saturday, Aug. 9

Fire other
Bear Mountain Road
Caller advised at one of the pull-offs on Bear Mountain Road there is a campfire that is out but still smoldering/no one is around it.

Silver City Fire Department

Tuesday, Aug. 5

Car fire
3001 State Street
Car on fire by the stop sign. Attack1 advised showing smoke/all units were downgraded/fire is controlled/fire out and mop-up complete.

Fire other
85 Ridge Road
Washer started fire. Attack1 advised fire is out/investigating.

Tyrone Volunteer Fire Department

Monday, Aug. 4

Fire other
42 Cullum Drive
Can only see black smoke – no flames/heard a few 'pops' as well/trash pile next to the vehicles. Caller knocked on the door-no answer/is going to try and use the hose to put it out. TYVFD acknowledged page. Grant County Fire Manager will be responding to call but stopping at TYVFD to pick up an engine, then will be en route
