Agency assist – Ridge Road – Silver City – GCDC. Deputies served a warrant on Johnathon Proudlock at Grant County Detention Center. Warrant was issued by Judge Runnels with a no-bond set.

Thursday, Dec. 11

Serving papers/warrant – N. Silver Street – Silver City – SOS

Serving papers/warrant. Deputies contacted Andrea Hernandez at ACE Hardware. She had a warrant out of Division 1 with a no-bond set. She was booked  into the GCDC.

Structure fire – 11 Radio Tower Road – Silver City/Pinos Altos. Victim reported smoke coming from her closet and believes her solar batteries which are stored in her closet started the fire.

Warrant Check – Highway 180 – MM 123 (1 mile north of Bayard Cemetery). Deputies arrested Nicholas Sanchez following an attempted evasion. Sanchez fled on a bicycle  and then on foot before being taken into custody. Sanchez had a blue pill, later identified as fentanyl, in his possession, and he was charged with possession of a controlled substance and resisting, evading, or obstructing  an officer.

Shoplifting – E. Highway 180 – Silver City – Harbor Freight Tools. Deputies arrested Jessica Alva on two warrants and charged her with concealing identity.

Friday, Dec. 12

Larceny -- Royal Street – Bayard. Caller stated a toolbox with tools valued at $1741.97 was taken. Video was obtained and an investigation is ongoing. 

Criminal damage to property – Prescott Street – Santa Clara. The victim stated someone was hitting golf balls at her home and one of her windows was broken. The case is pending charges on a person of interest.

Saturday, Dec. 13

Vehicle accident with injuries – Truck Bypass – Silver City. Deputies responded to a roll-over crash with minor injuries on Highway 90 and Truck Bypass. Elijah Wilson was arrested after being treated for his minor injuries for driving with a suspended/revoked license.

Animal – Flury Lane – Arenas Valley

Recovered stolen vehicle – Fairway Drive – Silver City. Deputies recovered a stolen ATV on Fairway Drive after it was spotted traveling recklessly in the area. The vehicle was confirmed stolen from Arizona and secured. The investigation is ongoing.
