Silver City, NM – The Guadalupe Montessori School is holding its fifth annual Fall Festival Fundraiser on Saturday, November 1, from noon to 4 p.m. This year's event will also include a capoeira workshop taught by Muleka Capoeira and designed for children of a variety of ages and abilities.

Benefitting the small, not-for-profit school serving children from 18 months through 12 years, the festival is open to the entire community. The afternoon events include carnival games, hayrides, face painting, crafts and cute animals to pet and pose with. The renowned Guadalupe Montessori School kitchen will dish up seasonal food and drink. A bake walk will provide lucky participants with treats to enjoy at the festival or take home.

"With support from generous community members, business owners and farmers, our board and parent volunteers invite families from across the county and beyond to come enjoy themselves, making good memories together," said Heidi Pendleton, who is the Guadalupe Montessori School Director.

The Guadalupe Montessori School Fall Festival will be held on the school grounds at 1731 N. Alabama Street in Silver City. Admission is free. Activity prices range from $1 to $6.
