Welfare check on a dog that is elderly and unable to walk when it gets up. Dog will be checked on by ACO and vet.

Assist with XCPD to detain a person with a warrant.

Friday, Aug. 22

Traffic stop
Highway 180 – MM 125 (1 mile south of Bayard Cemetery)
Agency assist with BPD reference an intoxicated driver.

Suspicious activity
Horseshoe Drive
Caller advised he can hear someone speaking about harming a female but sounded under the influence.

Domestic violence
D Street
Male and female arguing. Negative contact with anyone in the area.

Aztec Avenue
Caller wants to file a complaint about loose dogs in the area.

Central Avenue
Agency assist with Bayard PD to execute search warrant at the address.

Saturday, Aug. 23

Criminal damage to property
Nevada Avenue
Someone damaged caller's rock fence.

Suicide threat
B Street
45-year-old male under the influence threating to harm himself. All okay/male needed someone to talk to.

Steyskal Street – Bayard
Agency assist with Bayard PD reference a male who threatened to beat up caller.

Welfare check
Carasco Avenue
Welcheck requested by caller for a 54-year-old male who has trouble getting around. Negative contact/male left on a bus to Silver City.

Friday, Aug. 29

Harassment
Lea Drive
Male and four female juvies outside residence trying to get caller's daughter to go outside and fight.

Runaway
Elguea Avenue
Caller advised her daughter ran away but she knows where she is. Officer had contact and returned the daughter home.

Suspicious activity
Aztec Avenue
Male attempting to take a vehicle that doesn't belong to him. Officer had negative contact with anyone around the vehicle.

Suspicious activity
Geronimo Avenue
Caller advised daughter noticed a male with a flashlight in the area/request frequent patrol for the weekend.

911 hang-up
Cortez Avenue
Female stating someone was out on the floor. Negative contact with anyone.

Suspicious activity
Cortez Avenue – Hurley Police Department
Group of subjects yelling in front of the office and refused to provide further information.

Unwanted subject

Three males are bothering caller. Officer had negative contact with the subjects.

Reckless driver
Highway 180 – MM 133-134 (2-3 miles south of Grant County Airport Road)
Vehicle unable to maintain lane/driving at a high rate of speed/driver detained and released.

Monday, Sept. 1

Domestic disturbance
B Street
Verbal argument between male and female/both separated for the day.

Virginia Street
Assist with Bayard PD reference a 20-year-old male causing problems for his mother/subject clear/he was under the influence.

Hurley Avenue – Bayard
Assist with Bayard PD reference a male yelling in the area/all clear/subject was looking for his dogs.
