On Tuesday October 7 at noon, Sharla Lefkowitz-Oberg will discuss the Silver City MainStreet Project, celebrating its 40-year anniversary in 2025. The Project encourages a vibrant, historic downtown Silver City that is recognized as the heart of our diverse community. The organization manages the Silco Theater and the Murray Ryan Visitor Center, while working with the Town of Silver City and New Mexico MainStreet to acquire funding and provide resources to our downtown community.
The Rotary Club will meet at its new location in the conference room of Gila Regional Medical Center. Visitors should enter through the main entrance. There is a brief "meet and greet", a short business meeting and then the speaker has the floor. The club welcomes members of the public to the meetings. Lunch is in the hospital cafeteria. Guests are advised to arrive in the cafeteria well before noon.
