Town of Silver City  Mayor Is Looking For Qualified Volunteers

Do you have a few extra hours each month?  Would you like to be involved in the community and your local government? If so, then please contact the Town of Silver City Clerk's office because Mayor Simon Wheaton-Smith of the Town of Silver City is looking for qualified volunteers to serve on the following: 

Cemetery Board: 2 Vacancies (applicants must reside within town limits.)

Historic Design Review Committee: 2 Vacancies (applicants must reside within town limits.)

Trails and Open Space Advisory Committee 1 Vacancy (applicants must reside within town limits)

Lodger Tax Advisory Board: 5 Vacancies qualifications are as follows: (Two (2) members who are owners or operators of lodgings subject to occupancy tax within the municipality.) 

(Two (2) members who are owners or operators of industries located within the municipality that primarily provide services or products to tourists.) 

(One (1) member who is a resident of Silver City and represents the general public.)
