January 18 at 10:00 am, 3845 North Swan Street – "SWAG"
Jason Burke of SWAG will talk about SWAG, the SouthWest Adolescent Group and how it impacts our youth.
"At the SouthWest Adolescent Group, we seek to serve the adolescents of Silver City, the mining district, and all of Grant County by creating, implementing and making accessible programming that will serve to improve their quality of life," Burke said.
The organization is supported by a thrift store that carries a wide variety of items.
Burke will also talk about future plans for both the Thrift Store and the organization.
Children are welcome to participate on any Sunday, but they will get the most out of the program if they attend second and fourth Sundays somewhat regularly. Family adults may stay for the children's program or attend the adult program. Children are encouraged to bring a small item that represents someone or something they are grateful for that week.
