Draft New Mexico Unit Fund Pilot Cycle II Policy seeks your input. The Draft New Mexico Unit Fund Pilot Cycle II Policy establishes the policy and processes the NMISC will use to identify and fund projects from the Unit Fund's next funding cycle. The Draft Pilot Cycle II Policy builds on the application and implementation process from the previous Pilot Cycle policy for planning and design projects. In response to stakeholder feedback, key changes include:
• Adding construction as an eligible project type,
- Updating the fund vision, project goals, and evaluation criteria,
- Refining and clarifying Applicant eligibility,
- Implementing a funding limit for this funding cycle, and
- Establishing "special eligibility categories" to help promote fairness in competition.
Please head to the NMISC website for the Arizona Water Settlements Act (AWSA) or click on this link to download your copy today. All feedback is welcome and can be shared with the NMISC at
The NMISC will also be holding in-person and virtual listening sessions in Deming, Lordsburg, Silver City, and Reserve to get more public input on the Draft New Mexico Unit Fund Pilot Cycle II Policy in Mid-February. More information about the listening sessions will be made available shortly.
